Gloria Russakov is a former restaurant reviewer and critic from the Portland, Oregon area. She is the author of four books, including, “The Guide to Oregon Restaurants” and the “Oregon Times Guide to Eating in Portland”. She was a regular contributor to Oregon Magazine, writing about food and restaurants. She was also a restaurant critic in Southern California. A self-proclaimed food lover, she has “eaten her way across the country, from California to North Carolina”. She has taken numerous cooking classes including one in Napa Valley presented by the Great Chefs of France.
Gloria graduated from Temple University and has a Masters degree in Writing from Wesleyan University. She is a resident of Trent Woods and has lived here for the past four years. She is married to Dr. Alan Russakov from Coastal Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation here in New Bern.
