This event is a celebration of the Neuse River that allows participants to enjoy the majesty of our river in beautiful New Bern. This year we will see Dragon Boat Races in the open waters of the lower Neuse.

Dragon Boat Races

Imagine: 45’ boat with dragon motif, 20 paddlers

seated side by side, drummer at the bow beating the

cadence & helmsman at stern.

Open to: High School Teams, College Teams,

Church Groups, Sports Teams, Civic Organizations,

Neighborhoods, Businesses … etc.
